Frank Worthington began his career as a forward for Huddersfield Town in 1966 before playing for Leicester City, Bolton Wanderers, Birmingham City, Leeds United, Sunderland, Southampton, Brighton and Hove Albion, Tranmere Rovers, Preston North End, Stockport County and Galway United. He won caps playing for England in 1974.

Frank had the reputation for enjoying the high life. Following retirement from the game he turned to the after-dinner speaking circuit and also published his autobiography "One Hump Or Two". The stories Frank has to tell during his after dinner engagements are hysterical and the nostalgia he evokes is priceless. A night in the company of the inimitable Frank Worthington is a night to remember!

Frank made a highly memorable appearance at La Ruidera Restaurant near Ciudad Quesada on the Costa Blanca in March 2010. Through the ups and downs of his life and career, Frank maintained the philosophy that positive thinking will always get you through. Well, it doesn't seem to have done him any harm.
